I am proud to be a part of a very dedicated military family. My husband is a combat Marine veteran, having served in Desert Shield / Desert Storm, and Somalia, and we have three children - all daughters who enlisted in the US Air Force. Between them, our girls have so far served in Germany, Iraq, and South Korea. Two are still active duty and one has returned to civilian life to finish her college degree. Having served as a law enforcement officer myself, I join my family of military veterans in our commitment to serve, and protect, our community and country. Our family is very familiar with the challenges and sacrifices of service for others, and we value the sense of community and family that comes along with it. My husband and I are now active with our local VFW and VFW Auxiliary, and are committed to the continued support of our military members, veterans, and their families, any way that we can.
